Photo Friday #14 – Green

This is what they mean when they say that Ireland is green. People really aren’t exaggerating, and the sunshine makes all the difference. I guess it isn’t called the Emerald Isle for nothing!

This is the view from Staigue Stone Fort on the Iveragh Peninsula, County Kerry. The fort is believed to have been built in the Iron Age and as well as being a defensive stronghold and a possible place of worship, it makes one helluva lookout!
