In honour of American Thanksgiving today’s Friday Photo theme is “thanks”. Whether you celebrate the holiday or not it’s always great to take a few moments to think about the things that you’re thankful for.
I’m a very lucky girl and I know that I have lots of things to be thankful for in my life, even if I sometimes lose sight of that fact. I have a wonderful family, great friends, I’m healthy and I have had amazing opportunities in my life – lots to be thankful for.
While I’m thankful for the opportunity to take my current career break and travel, the thing that I am most thankful for today is my husband, Damian (awwww……). This month we’ve been married for a whopping six months and thankfully it’s been going pretty well so far! Damian is a kind and patient man who is always supportive of my crazy schemes and plans. He’s my number one favourite travel partner and together we’re always able to make the best of any situation, even if that just means going and taking a nap. What more could a girl ask for, really?
