Well, 15 days later we are back on British soil. We have travelled to 4 countries, and visited at least 7 cities. We have travelled by plane, train, tram, bus, car, bicycle, and ferry.
The day didn’t start out well. We woke up to gray skies and the second straight day of cold, cold rain. Another day of indoor activities would be on the agenda. We headed to the Anne Frank House in the Jordaan area of Amsterdam in hopes that the lineups wouldn’t be too terrible.
Damian just returned from a weekend visiting his sister in Amsterdam and had his first Queen’s Day experience and learned that it is best avoided if you don’t like the colour orange! Otherwise, it’s a great party in an amazing city!
Without further ado, I bring you the final instalment of our Euro 2012 summer travel plans! We don’t have everything booked and planned yet but some tickets are bought and everyone is getting excited!
