This is what they mean when they say that Ireland is green. People really aren’t exaggerating, and the sunshine makes all the difference. I guess it isn’t called the Emerald Isle for nothing!

Photo Friday #13 – Chocolate
Well this is a topic that is near and dear to my heart! I like me some chocolate. Last year for our anniversary Damian surprised me with a Green & Black’s chocolate making workshop with My Chocolate! Good gift or what?!
Photo Friday #12 – Wild
New Zealand is unlike anywhere else I’ve ever travelled, full of rugged landscapes and seemingly untouched wilderness. This weeks Friday photo is of one such place, where snow-capped mountains reach for the clouds and swathes of wild lupins stretch for miles. Unforgettable.
Photo Friday #11 – Local
I live in a small town outside of Chester in the northwest of England. The Shropshire Union Canal runs through town not far from our house and it’s one of my favourite places to go for a walk and feed the ducks and swans. There are lots of places where you can rent these huge … Continue reading
Photo Friday #10 – Special Moments
My special moment was being part of my little nephews’ first international trip – here’s hoping it’s not the last!

I could stand at the gate of the local farmer’s field for hours watching … Continue reading

Today’s #FriFotos theme is exotic and my offering for you is a view of beautiful Angkor Wat from the top of Phnom Bakheng in Cambodia. This was probably one of my favourite places that we visited in Angkor because, unbelievably, we were the only people there! Take a look here to see what it can … Continue reading
Photo Friday #6–Happy Place
My happy place is under the sea at the Great Barrier Reef in Australia! I don’t think there is any place better!
Photo Friday #5-Dogs
I’m really more of a cat person but as soon as I saw that this weeks #frifotos theme was dogs I knew exactly the picture to include. I took this picture on a trip to Kensington Market in Toronto last summer. Kensington Market is one of my favourite places to visit and there happened to … Continue reading
