Getting a grey and rainy day while on holiday is always disappointing. Sometimes, however, with grey skies come rainbows – one of nature’s most magical spectacles.

Happy birthday to #FriFotos, who have been bringing us photo goodness for two whole years now. In honour of this momentous occasion todays theme is two, a rather more general theme than we are usually graced with.
Late October isn’t really the recommended time to visit Scotland. It’s cold up there and it rains quite a lot, both of which are only worse in the late autumn. Nevertheless, this is just the time that we decided to take our first trip to Edinburgh, with my mom in tow.
Well, I’m jumping on the Capture the Colour bandwagon. Travel bloggers are clamouring over themselves to post their best photographs from exotic locations around the world in an effort to out do one and other and walk away the triumphant winner of the whopping £2000 prize.
